If Obama can't stand up to PACs and 527s...
then how is he going to stand up to al Qaeda?
I'm sure we all recall Obama decrying PACs and 527s supporting his competitors John Edwards and Hillary Clinton. He referred to the groups, which include labor unions and EMILY's List, as "shadowy, Washington-based organizations."
Now that these PACs and 527s have popped up supporting his candidacy, where's Obama's anger at their spending? If he can't stop their spending DIRECTLY on his behalf, why aren't people expressing their outrage?
Obama supporters have expressed outrage about the proposed Wright ad by the NC GOP and McCain's inability to stop its running. Here's a quote from HusseinTenaX: "So he's a public liar and jackass over it." I guess the same applies to Obama, no? And if not, why not?

Yvaughn, the reason I think he can't and won't is because he's been receiving the support of PACs and 527s and he hasn't done anything. They continue to spend on his behalf. The question still stands.
As for your number 2, it was a question that Josh proposed in his blog(http://talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/191134.php). I didn't hear anyone slam his logic earlier.

Obama has said that it isn't ethical to ACCEPT PAC money and calls the 527's the "shadowy organizations".
He doesn't accept PAC money.
And he doesn't have 527's supporting him.

quasar, does a labor union that creates a 527 cease to be a labor union? I think it's pretty clear what was meant, and your hair-splitting without confronting the essence of the post shows that you have no real good answer for Obama's hypocrisy.

Here is just one example of a 527 spending millions to support Obama. 527s have spent more on Obama's behalf than on behalf of Sen. Clinton. Obama's criticism of both Edwards and Clinton shows his hypocrisy as he now is mum on their spending. It's troubling how little you know about your own candidate.

Well, Obama thought PAC money was ethical before he found it unethical. He has no principled stand against it - his stand is political and it started right in time for the primary campaign. It's troubling that you know little about your own candidate.
