I see neither of the strike tags work.

I don't think any HTML works in the blog itself. Limited HTML works in the comments. For example, strike does not work here, either.

1) Blogs = no code
There is a text editor installed on the Reader Blog post entries, and it is not optional, YOU MUST USE IT INSTEAD OF YOUR OWN CODE. It inserts its own code. If you put anything with code in the box of a Reader Blog entry, it will show up. If you pre-write your posts, you have to do so in a plain text editor like Notepad (comes with Windows, go to Start/Programs/Accessories folder), not one like Word that puts code in. If you want to post something that you wrote in Word, you have to paste it first into Notepad to strip the code out. Then you will have to reformat it with the TPM text editor.
2) Comments = use code
There did not install the text editor in comments. Therefore, if you want to format, you can use the html code which this site it is set to accept. As noted above, the fancier html code is not accepted by this system, but the basics are.

Mho: IT'S REALLY STUPID TO HAVE A TEXT EDITOR IN ONE PLACE AND NOT THE OTHER and I said this in a comment on the most recent software change long ago. It's just confusing for users and always will be and will always need explaining. 2 software changes ago, they had a text editor on both comments and blogs and it was also optional. That worked out fine for everyone. What they chose to do this time is really stupid, either put it on both or don't put it in at all.
