Hillary taught me something tonight!

So much of what Hillary has said and will say has angered me lately, and for that matter things she didnt say, Like she's sure that Obama isn't a Muslim, as far as she knows. I Didnt have a candidate shortly after my Candidate Edwards dropped out, as long as they were a Dem, they would garner my vote this election. Things changed over time as Hillary innacted her kitchen sink strategy. The SNL bit, and her whining and using that to her advantage by playing the victim card began to wear on  me. Finaly, it came to a head, and givin all the other things of late, most important of all is she refuses to put the party first over her ambition, has driven me to come as close to hating someone that I dont know personaly if I'm not already there. All said, Hillary taught me something tonight. When asked in the past if I would vote for her if she bullied the super's into supporting her, sometimes I would say yes, and allot of the time I would say no. Interestingly when Hillary was finaly asked if Obama could beat McCain (TWICE), she finaly answered "Yes, yes, yes he can". What that taught me about my feelings of late that I am full of shit. I am one of the bitter people here in my state, and would never stay home or vote for McCain. I was just so upset with Hillary and because we weren't voting now, I didnt take the question seriously and would answer with bullshit. So the fact that Hillary could quit being so full of shit when pressed to answer the question 'can Obama win' against McCain made me think. For Hillary (in regards to her major talking point for the Super Delegates) to tell the truth has taught me something about myself. Basically I was just bullshiting when asked that question, just as Hillary's argument to the Super Dels is Bullshit. Thank you Hillary, now after the rest of the people vote(ok, I give) and you lose, please go home. Your only hurting your legacy, the Dem Party and my blood pressure with your antics! Lets put a Dem in the white house, McCain should be far more easier to defeat than the polls are suggesting so far!

"So the fact that Hillary could quit being so full of shit when pressed to answer the question 'can Obama win' against McCain made me think."

Huh? It was her answer that was, in real terms, `full of shit`. It was the only answer she could give in the circumstances (anything else would have brought down the wrath of the entire democratic movement.) The only thing of real significance in this part of the performance was how much she had to be pushed to give it. It's surely naive beyond belief for anyone to argue as some commentators afterwards did that this means she can no longer argue to the superdelegates that he can't win the general.
Does anyone really think that her SD master strategist, Ickes, is going to have any qualms about making the point to the SD's that she couldn't say anything else publicly but that in fact nothing has changed and blah blah his usual spiel?
The whole thing was repulsive. The phoneyness is mind-blowing: Hillary's `screw 'em` and her own arguments about working people's frustration - then she goes out trying to manipulate Bittergate. The pardon to the Weathermen and then she has the gall to challenge Obama being on the same charity board? The notion she's promulgating that only Obama will be vulnerable to swiftboating?
The only thing that has me at all surprised is that anyone who has had misgivings about her candidacy, as you clearly have, could actually think you could put a premium on anything she says - let alone anything said under such duress and where she had no alternative.

With you. Nothing else to say.

I put a premium on what she says....what?
Ok, I guess your response is far over my head, Im not that intelligent I guess!

I dont see too much where I disagree with you, or you with me, but let me try!

I dont care what she argues to the supers in private, to everyone else she answered the question, I dont give a shit why. Its politics, and now when a campaign surrogate talks that bullshit to a pundit or a reporter, they will be forced to press her (in public) on her whole campaign talking point! Thats what I walk away with!
