Hello Nader-Why I'm Not Surprised to See You in this Morning's Polls
It was only a matter of time. Here comes Nader and Bob Barr with numbers that help Obama, hurt Clinton but show a real problem for the Dems.
With Clinton's recent advantage, and Obama's slow responses to crisis, Zogby has wisely started polling the potential elephant (growing larger) in the room.
The numbers:
Obama 45- McCain 34, Barr 4, Nader 1
McCain 44 - Clinton 34, Barr 4, Nader 3
A Clinton win in the primary means Nader can get enough numbers to win. Obama's starry-eyed liberals will flock to Nader.
Meantime, McCain is running a smart campaign beneath the radar. Talking healthcare as if he meant it. Good by half the blue-collar vote.
Obama. Get real about where we are in this. Stop coasting. Start getting into the trenches.

PLEASE RECOMMEND.
I think this is good news for Obama.
I'm tired of the bad news.

I don't think he needs to get in the trenches, but I think I'm going to donate to Barr!!

These are numbers that Obama should use with the super-delegates right now.

CORRECTION.
I got one of those numbers wrong.
Obama 45 McCain 42 Barr 3 Nader 1
McCain 44 Clinton 34 Barr 4 Nader 3
The combined Barr/Nader vote against Clinton is 7
The combined Barr/Nader vote against Obama is 4
Remember Nader? And the Nader votes that elected Bush?

The good news is that Barr (the Republican spoiler) is pulling more votes than Nader (the Democratic spoiler) in both cases.
