Have You Ever Dodged Bullets?

It was one of those police/military style shotguns with the short barrel and pistol grip. The streetlights gleamed off the chrome barrel.  I happened on New Years Eve 1996, a cool night for January in Florida (i.e. about 55 degrees). The man aiming the gun was wearing a trucker hat and had a one day growth of beard. He was intoxicated. I was standing next to my best friend at the time, and a girl who was part of our party that night. Although it happened over 12 years ago, I still can remember the details very clearly. It was a very emotional moment. Luckily, no shots were fired.

The Hillary Clinton sniper story is getting to be old news. However, the more time goes by, the more implausible her explanation sounds. There is simply no way to forget the details when someone shoots at you (or even pulls a gun on you). Fortunately, I have never been the target of someone pulling a trigger. But when that old drunk guy aimed a shotgun at me and pumped a shell into the chamber -- I never forgot that moment.

Don't vote for a liar.
