First, Hillary blamed ....

First, Hillary blamed red state democracts, but I didn't care because I am not a red state democract.

Then, Hillary blamed the small state caucuses, but I didn't care because I don't live in a small state with a caucus.

Then, she blamed blacks block-voting for one of their own, but I didn't care, because I am not black.

Then, she blamed latte-drinkers, but I didn't care because I drink expresso.

Then, she blame MoveOn, but I didn't care because I am not a member.

Then, Hillary blamed me, and by that time there was no one left to care.

Well, I'll admit that I do like the occasional latte.
Oh wait, there's a knock at my door . . .

FARC(ing) Hilarious!!

Can I quote you while you read this? :

Did Barry FARC the pooch? Investors Business Daily thinks he has some explaining to do:

Who stole my "Change I can belive in" I left on my night stand?

Excellent !!

Why didn't she just run as a Republican? She insulted our party's 50-State initiative. She's insulted our party's rules and procedures, even after to agreeing to them. Now she's insulting DEMOCRATS. This is bigger than bittergate, or should be. Too bad Obama doesn't have a former press surrogate moderating a debate.

This CAN'T be bigger than bittergate, don't you see? The only Americans that matter--to the MSM/HRC/GOP, at least--are those salt-o'-the-earth white menfolk working at photogenic factories or farms (but not factory farms, as they are liable to be ferners), living in the geographic center of the country (as long as it's not in a caucus state), over the age of 45, struggling to feed their family on salaries $250,000 a year but can not because of that danged capital gains tax. The other 298,000,000 of us? Outliers.

avatar

Well, not the geographic center, because that would be Kansas. Kansas is one of the states that doesn't count. So you have to pick the center of a state that does count -- maybe Fresno, California? Or somewhere slightly west of Harrisburg, PA or Orlando, FL or San Juan, Puerto Rico. (Yes, Puerto Rico's not a state to the rest of us. We know our commonwealths. But in HillaryWorld...)

"I'm with Harry Truman on this. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen."

She is starting to sound... bitter.

Ouch. Why did that give me the same feeling as watching someone about to put in the Figure Four? ;)

Thanks for the comments, I thought of this yesterday when she blamed MoveOn. As a member of MoveOn (I just sent them some money once), I realized that Hillary had finally gotten around to me.

avatar

I've simply lost track of the number times that she has insulted me in this campaign. She really is amazing! I'm a move-on member - a group started to defend her husband, I'm from a state that doesn't matter, I'm an elitist who doesn't need a president. Wow. She hates me, she really, really hates me.

Yes, but you weren't created to defend and love her. There's a biiiiig difference to her.

Not only that, but they were created to defend Bill against that impeachment charge which sprung (ultimately) from him being unfaithful to her.

Bensburg,

This is soooo funny!! I had to look twice!!

Now that certainly puts a little perspective on it.

Goddamned activists.

I guess I am an "elitist," too. But I neeed a president.

I am doing okay financially, but I'm in IT and my job can be outsourced in an instant. Moreover, my savings are dollar-denominated and they are losing their value daily.

Finally, despite my "elitism," I, too, am patriotic and don't want see our republic destroyed by petty politics, the middle-class looted by the wealthy, and our national treasure squandered in Iraq.

Still, the people have the governments they deserve. If the body politic switches to Hillary on the basis of these attacks - whatever.

Savings in dollars... tell me about it. Every day I kick myself for not having converted my savings to some other currency while there was time. At least I'm earning Euros now - could be worse!

And I guess that makes me an elitist too... good thing I don't mind at all!

Can't really count on the asset value of our homes either, can we? How many people are 'under water' on their mortgages, even if they are able to keep up with the payments?

I've converted my currency to live chickens. Sure, they're noisy, stink, tend to die...but I can use the eggs.

No more elite than me.

I grew up in rural southwestern Pennsylvania, in the mountains, in a community of East European coal miners and steel mill workers. Like most people I went to school with, I left there and never looked back. However, you can't take the country out of the kid, so Hillary has managed to insult me several times on many fronts.

So now, as I sip my latte while reading my high-falutin' literature, and remember my youth going to church with a rifle in the back of my pickup, all I can say is: Hillary, go to hell. Go. To. Hell.

Did you write that on a Mac?

Very nice play on the original.

I've often thought of this poem as a way to motivate myself to action when my lazy side thought I could just let others. Your usage here is wonderful. Obama can't win unless we are willing to work for and with him to change the structure of politics.
Thank you for your post.

Also, the comparison of Hillary to the Nazi's seems very appropriate lately.

My dear, Obama blamed his poor performance in the ABC debate on ABC and on Hillary. But the nation-wide Daily Gallop Poll shows Obama dropping 12 points in the last 4 days. And the last 3 Zogby polls taken over the last 3 days show Hillary increasing her lead in Pennsylvania. It's great to talk about a new kind of politics that raises the political debate, but I think people have noticed that the GOP hasn't signed onto that idea yet. The Democratic nominee is going to face the usual old politics this Fall. Rather than wilting under tough questioning and complaining about it later, Obama would have helped himself much more if he had shown that he can handle the heat as well as Hillary does.

Why don't you gallop off with your non-sequiturs.

Like she's handling the heat from MoveOn? She's not whining - not good ol Iron Hillary-Joe.

When BHO doesn't have a ready answer, he pokes fun and uh, uh and changes the subject.

I've been looking at your comments history and... wow.

Just wow.

You're a genuine, honest-to-god racist.

I mean you can call a lot of people racists for making comments that are insensitive, but you're actually a genuine heinous bigot.

Point and laugh at the neandertal! Hahah!

You're going to have a black president, nah nhay!

At this rate, Hillary/McCain 08. LOL.

"Ask not what Hillary can do for our Country. Ask what you can do for Hillary."

avatar

"You are either with me, or you are against me"

Hillary Shrub Clinton

avatar

"Is you or is you not my constituency?"

avatar

Who said ,"you call fool some of the folks part of the time, and some other of the folks another part of the time, but one thing is for certain, the dumb ones you can fool all of the time"?

Hillary can claim "some of the time", but Barack is the clear winner for "all of the time"

How does he do it?

LOL, still means "lots of luck"

Don't forget the youth vote. Those stupid stupid kids...

avatar

Those kids are not stupid, they have been just so seriously misled.

You have heard of the "Pied Piper syndrom"

They see this growing line following something, they know not what, but they just fall right in.

Unfortunately, history repeats itself, so what are you going to do.

I don't mind other guys dancing with my girl
That's fine, I know them all pretty well
But I know sometimes I must get out in the light
Better leave her behind with the kids, they're alright
The kids are alright

Sometimes, I feel I gotta get away
Bells chime, I know I gotta get away
And I know if I don't, I'll go out of my mind
Better leave her behind with the kids, they're alright
The kids are alright

I know if I go things would be a lot better for her
I had things planned, but her folks wouldn't let her

I don't mind other guys dancing with my girl

But I know sometimes I must get out in the light
Better leave her behind with the kids, they're alright

Alicia,

I really appreciate your listing - fairly accurate. Since I am in a smaller caucus state, I was one of the earlier ones to care. We all cared. And ironically, latte's, airplanes and software come from this small caucaus state, and we ain't that small. We laugh because no one in the modern world could campaign without us.

Thanks for the nice words. I couldn't believe it when Friday Hillary got around to blaming me. Who next?

I hate to say this, because I don't want to over-reach, but Hillary's White House may have an Enemy's List, like Nixon's.

avatar

But - you left out the Sounthern White Males - SCREW'EM!

I'm so reviled-
Hybrid driver (Ford Escape, not a Prius)
Caucus participant
Red-ish state (CO)
MoveOn.org member since it started
Educated professional
Obama delegate
Not much for latte but I loves me some Kona!
Typing this on a Mac
Listening to my iPod

I never had a chance.

You elitist bastard! You might as well fess up to your WWP membership.

At first I thought you were suggesting I was a "wobbly." But that's the IWW.

I guess if the acronym stumps me I must not be one. I thought it was some kind of wrestling group...

Actually, I meant the World Workers Party. Guess I should have picked a more obvious reference. I haven't heard anyone talk about the wobblies since the last time I read Ginsberg's America!
