C-Span on Obama's "Bitterness" Remarks
Judging from this morning's CNN and MSNBCshows, the stations are stepping in and doing damagecontrol for the Obama campaign.
Some might wonder if it isn't the Obama campaign's place to do this, but then again, the media has been enthusiastically campaigning for Obama for quite a while.Propaganda Schmopaganda!
This Florida citizen telephoned C-Span and spoke her mind this morning:

Yea, it's always easier to win an election with a candidate the press hates. God I hope HRC is the nominee.

What planet are you coming from? CNN has been elevating and promoting Hillary since yesterday morning? Just because you don't see Obama all in the front of the cameras acting desperate for attention doesn't mean that they are laying back chilling and letting the networks clean up for him. What damage control do you see? I may have been overlooking but if you could just fill me in then I'd look into it? But I'm not sure what you are talking about.
Look Hillary causes her own mess. Her campaign is a mess. She lacks judgment. She is the one that is clearly out of touch. Anyone in there right mind would know when enough is enough. She is hogging up the camera, taking huge swigs of crown royal and boilers at a bar, talking about guns and religion when she is on record on being vocal about gun control. The hypocrisy. She doesn't recognize when she is overplaying her hand. Then cry sexism when there is a backlash or the media is picking on her. Seriously, what is wrong with that clown. She is a clown.
Obama is more poised and tactical. He doesn't need to do some phony media shuffle because that is not him.
Don't get upset because they are two different people with different deliveries. Obama's happens to be better.
Oh yeah, I watched C-SPAN this morning too. What is interesting is that the lady from Florida was a minority voice compared to the other callers.
Get real.

Excuse me?
"Ballot Bowl" just discussed the remark.
First they played the tape. It was distorted and inaudible, so 50% of their viewers would not even understand what he said.
Candy Crowly quickly blurred over it, so that it would still not be distinct.
Then they gave several Clinton blunders from the past, as if they were anywhere near the magnitude of Obama's hypocritically insulting his voters behind their backs.
Elderly people would have been left not having much of a clue what the deal was.
Very slick job.

Obama's not a phony. He just sucks up to the PA voters, then slimes them behind their backs. Pulled the same thing in OH.
Sure trust that little weasel.

I'm watching CNN right now and these clowns are saying that Barack Obama deeply regrets having made the statement, that his campaign is doing exhaustive damage control. And, they've chopped out most of the video and audio clips of him speaking so that you get no context, no qualifiers, and nothing that would allow viewers to get an impression that's any different than the bogus one that Clinton wants you to get. Then they have a nice long clip of Hillary saying how she thinks he needs to explain what he was talking about.
He did explain it. Several times. If CNN didn't have their lips attached to your butt, Hillary, they might have allowed viewers to hear the explanations.

that's right. The only thing that was clear was his explanation.
The folks at home got to see the actor Obama wearing his pious, serious mask.
They shrewdly made his offending comments INAUDIBLE.
The Clinton cuts only showed her responding in a vague way.
Once again, most CNN viewers do not have a clue what this is about.
CNN is distorting and glossing over the entire thing.
And stick your lips on your own butt and have yourself a suck.

Bonehead is your name,eh?
Well, Obama was speaking at a closed event. so the loser who recorded of course was in disguise. It's inaudible because it was recorded inaudible. The tape that you are hearing is clearly on Huffingtonpost if you want witness the lack of clarity.
Huh, what does elderly people have to do with anything?
This makes me wonder why I am even responding or entertaining you. I think that there should be some type education policy on this site that requires for you to at least have a GED because your lack of comprehension is unbearable.

Hah! If they weren't in league with Obama, then they would've had that crack team at CSI working on that audio in order to clean it up! Don't deny it! ;)

They cleaned it up really nicely in another progressive blog.
Pristine and crystal clear.
And I will not give out the name of the blog because I would not want it bombarded by the bunch over here.

What you say might be true, but then again, we have no way of verifying it. Let's be honest here: your first blog entry here didn't exactly start you off on a good foot.

That's what is known as "speaking". You see, he was speaking to the crowd and he was explaining his comments. Having seen the parts of the clips that CNN chopped out, I noticed that the crowd understood and appreciated what he had to say. I guess they fell for his "acting", huh.
By the way, the "inaudible" remarks had a transcript shown along with them. You should have asked someone to read it to you.

Well said, chimpeach.
But hey if bonehead or hunter don't know much about reading comprehension, then apples must not fall too far from the tree. I guess that explains your grammatical usage. Maybe there should have been pictograms. We should suggest for CNN to have a CNN hooked on phonics network for special people like bonehead.

People in this country need to toughen the hell up. I mean to hear you guys whine incessantly for the past 3 days is sickening and incredibly pathetic.
Didn't your parents ever tell you "don't be a cry baby?" Goodness freaking gracious, how do you guys even function in real life if you are so chronically offended?
Gov. Rendell said PA wouldn't vote for a Black man and it made a blip on the radar screen...there wasn't 3 days worth of outrage and parsing. He blatantly calls his voters racist, and Obama says something that is clearly not racist and you guys want his head on a stick. But it all goes to show that you guys aren't really pissed at the context of what he was saying, you just can't stand that a Black man has the audacity to speak the truth.
You guys consistently show your hypocrisy and it's really getting quite predictable now.

Ha! Obamites LOVE that Race card don't they?
Oh, so handy when their candidate f*ks up!
April 13, 2008 6:15 PM | Reply | Permalink
Race card is a term created by MORONS who don't have an intellectual leg to stand on. I used to think the term was insulting, but then I realized that only intellectually inferior people use such a copout of a word. If you have a beef with my words, then try refuting them on logical basis.
You can say "race card race card race card" a million times and it's still going to have the same result...you looking like a pathetic pea brain loser.

Hunter,
What's interesting is that we all see things differently. I see Clinton News Network for what it is but you see CNN fogging Obama's audio so that their audience can't hear anything. If you can't hear the audio because the network has sabotaged it so that you can't hear it, then I suggest that you go to Fox news to hear it. Or better yet ABC, NBC or CBS are really professional and objective. I'm sure that they are playing the audio very clear. You should go check it out.
Write back and tell us what he said and what the clarity was because we if CNN is booby trapping the audio, it's definitely not fair at all. But I'm sure Fox will have it because they are fair and balance.

CNN could have easily cleaned up the audio.
They have the technicians and the technology to do this.
They did not do this because they know that a large segment
of their viewers will not understand it.
If you watch any CNN show, they talk very slowly, and very
clearly as if talking to 5 year olds.
When something is unclear on CNN is because they want it that way.
