Congressional candidate speaks at Hitler's Birthday (party)
If you thought American politics couldn't get any more bizarre...

Three best things about the article are:
(1) Congressional Candidate at podium with big poster of Adolf Hitler
and Swastika flags in bkgd.
(2) "H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y" in hand-cut letters along the front
of the podum.
(3) This quote: "In March, Zirkle raised the idea of segregating races
in separate states."

I was assuming it was snark…
Although you do mention it, I'll stress that the Tony Zirkle (the loon in question) is merely a candidate and not yet the Republican nominee running against the incumbent Democrat U. S. Rep. Joe Donnelly. Presumably, even the Republicans will decide this was in poor taste and go with a either John Frame or Joseph Roush (the other two options) as the nominee to run against Joe Donnelly.

That's what I thought when a friend of mine passed it on to me.
I had to post since it's one of those, "I think I just saw a polka-dotted unicorn on that street corner", moments that you have to share in case it really wasn't there.
You can't make this kind of stuff up.

The best things about the article are.....
You missed the association of Black Radio with the Nazis-
"I'll speak before any group that invites me," Zirkle said Monday. "I've spoken on an African-American radio station in Atlanta."
