CNN's new Toy
CNN has a great new delegate calculator that begins with PA includes all the contests between now and the end and even lets you slide the uncommitted superdelegates from one column to the other.
I gamed this very favorably towards Clinton, giving her 20 point wins in PA, KY, WV, IN and Puerto Rico. I gave Obama 10 point wins in NC, OR, and MT and split the remaining superdelegates evenly among the two. Even with this rosy scenario Clinton loses by nearly 100 and Obama reaches up and over the magical 2025 number. This nicely demonstrates the quixotic quest Clinton is currently on.

Thanks for sharing, it's a great widget to play with to get a feel for yourself just how slim the chances are for Clinton. The only chance she has at this point is that something turns people away from Obama in time for these primaries. If something happens then she is in a position to make the case to the supers that she should win; but that's not a good enough reason for her to stay in much longer.

Why does the CNN calculator still list Texas as
Undecided/Split, the only state so listed?? Split should be used only for a delegate "tie" which Texas is not. The fact that one candidate won the primary component and the other won the caucus component is irrelevant, only the final delegate count (combining primary delegates with caucus delegates) matters in determining who won the state.
Or is CNN considering Texas to be "undecided" because a few caucus results are still outstanding?
