CLINTON TEAM Proposes New Compromise.....
In a stunning move, the Clinton campaign, this afternoon, has put forth a new proposal that would have both candidates for the Democratic Presidential nomination 'pool' their campaign contributions and then divide the total 50/50.......

Yeah, but once it is "pooled," the candidate who won most of the BIG states, should actually get more, right?
Oh, and all campaign debts should be paid off before any money is divided, right?
Oh, and ...

Hold on there; if you do that, you're disenfranchising all those Obama donors. Isn't that undemocratic?

Who cares? This race is "neck & neck!" per Hill.
ps -- they only want to disenfranchise caucus voters! Oh, and "small state voters." Oh, and pretty much anyone who didn't vote for Hillary....
"but we'll take Obama's donations, because it is what is best for the country."

I'm not a Clinton supporter, but I do think a link would be helpful. Where did you obtain this information?

Sorry, I heard her saying that the race is "Neck and Neck," and comparing her situation to that of a tie game with 2 minutes on the clock, with her team being enouraged to quit... on NPR driving home from work. I swear it was her voice, but I don't blame you for wanting confirmation.

OK, apparently the original post was made somewhat tongue-in-cheek. The problem for me, as it apparently was for the several other commenters who took it seriously, was that given many of the other Clinton comments of the last several weeks (especially regarding what states should count, who "won" FL and MI, etc.), it seemed entirely plausible that she would float such a proposal! That ought to tell us something...

Oh, gosh, sometime in the past week I read a news story describing some new math B. Clinton proposed to count the popular vote: something like counting the popular vote only in primary states, including MI and FL, and I think even excluding my dear Utah...or something like that. That same day I heard Hillary saying something similar without all the details.
But heck, Obama could start counting caucus states and states with black populations over 40% and declare victory. You can do anything with numbers (see http://www.pollster.com/blogs/outliers_for_april_4.php for some critiques).
Anyhow, Hill's numbers in PA and IN are still decent, and heaven knows she's got a 3-days-before-the-primary ad campaign worked up. I wouldn't call it neck and neck, though.

LOL! That's a good one. And why not? Obama want's half the votes in Michigan and Florida, regardless of who the people actually voted for. So why not give Hillary half of Obama's money? I like it.
