Bill Clinton, Obama and Stealing Cars

avatar

Bill was commenting about an Obama campaign ad where Obama says, unlike Hillary, he doesn't take any money from oil companies. Bill goes on and describes how no politician living has taken money from oil companies because it is against the law. IOW, the add was without substance. I thought that was the point of his comment but his next statement reveals there was more to it than that. The kicker comes when Bill says that a politician could create a political ad that says, I don't steal cars, vote for me.

I was all for Obama until I found out that he steals cars!
I wonder if Obama listens to that nasty Randi Rhodes in his stolen car?
Maybe Hillary is the right person to lead this country. I hear that she already has a car and would be less likely to steal one.

It also conveniently ignores the fact that Obama specifically references oil company PACs (from which it is legal to take money) and not oil companies themselves.

2008 will be remembered for a lot of things. There's a slight chance it will be remembered as the year in which America elected Grampa Simpson President. It may well be remembered as the point when America elected it's first non-white or non-male President. IT WILL DEFINITELY be remembered as the point when Bill Clinton lost his mojo...

Amen to that. So much for your legacy, Bubba. Here, have a Krispy Kreme...I think they have fritters fresh out of the fryer.

The thing about Bill, back during that time that we all prefer to not remember, he went (in my opinion) from a pretty presidential guy to a really sleazy guy. He had this general sleazy look about him. After he left office, to me, most of his post-presidential years have been pretty good. He lost the sleaziness, became former-presidential, has done good works. But now, all I see is sleazy again. He's got that sleazy look all over again. Ugh. Lost his mojo is right. I think he's lost far more than that.

Hmmm. Is Obama really just a typical gangsta after all?

Rush says this is typical Bill, twisting the truth. He says that what Democrats are complaining about now are what he has been complaining about, alll along, that nothing has changed.

So, now Rush is the voice of reason? What has this world come to????
