Apparently Harry Reid Is Bitter Too: Hints At End Of The Race
Harry Reid has a sense of humor!
It was one of those typical questions from a reporter gaggle on Capitol Hill: Does Harry Reid think the protracted nomination fight between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton will harm the party?
Reid didn't miss a beat.
"It makes me bitter," he deadpanned.
Reid has such a dry humor that you actually have to pause and look at him to make sure he's not being serious when he's attempting comedy. But his usual grimace in front of reporters quickly turned to a grin as he capitalized on the now infamous "bitter" comment made by Obama at a San Francisco area fund raiser.
In all seriousness, Reid said he believed the Democratic nomination "is all going to be over very soon," and he contended that "it has been healthy for our party."
Over very soon? Maybe Reid has added fortune telling to his comedy routine.

Reid is pretty funny. Wasn't he the one who, while stepping out of a senate elevator and into a phalanx of photographers, turned and called back "Careful getting out, Barack, lots of reporters here," and then walked away laughing while they flashed and clicked away at the empty elevator?

I'm loving this Reid comment. It's funny and it's exactly what I want to hear! I'd love for it to get more play to try and get this whole bittergate behind us. It's gotta be the most ginned up, ridiculous nontroversy I've ever seen.
As to Reid's fortune telling skills...we try to read fortunes, HE has a lot of information that we don't. He's telling us the way it is. Supers continue to trickle in, he goes over 50% of the pledged delegates on 5/20 with Oregon (sooner if we're lucky) and the supers fall in line shortly thereafter. It's almost a done deal. Just so long as she doesn't destroy him in the meantime...
