Drip... Drip... Drip... and the rush to Obama goes ON!

Oregon Rep. David Wu, one of Oregon's 12 Democratic superdelegates, announced Thursday that he'd back Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, citing Obama's stand against the Iraq war "from the very beginning."

But, but, but, HE CAN'T WIN! Oh, wait, yes, yes, yes, he CAN win!

Wait. Does Oregon count?

Hmm. Not a caucus state, not a red state, not a too black state, not an inordinately wealthy state...oh, but they are a Birkenstock wearing state. So, no, they don't count.

but, it is a state that you do not "fly over". Unless, of course you are going from North to South.

NO! The only thing that matters:

Did Hillary win? If she did, it counts; if she didn't it doesn't.

Now, do you get it?

Great! You can get a job pontificating for the MSM

Oregon may count (we'll have to see) but David Wu definitely doesn't count. He's toast.

We count... until 8:01PM on May 20th that is.

Thanks for doing Greg and Eric's work for them!!! LOL! ;)

This is good news - a stead drip, drip, drip will surely take the wind out of Hillary's "momentum" sails. Her tactics don't seem to be working, do they?

Superdelegate Wu Backs Obama In Oregon Oregon Rep. David Wu, one of Oregon's 12 Democratic superdelegates, announced Thursday that he'd back Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, citing Obama's stand against the Iraq war "from the very beginning."

Wu joins Oregon Rep. Earl Blumenauer in backing Obama. Gov. Ted Kulongoski and Rep. Darlene Hooley are supporting New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. The rest of Oregon's superdelegates have not yet announced their choice.

"We need new policies both at home and abroad," Wu said in a statement. "Like Americans, the international community wants to see real change in America and I believe that Senator Obama embodies that change."

The endorsement is an important win for Obama in one of the few states still to vote. Oregon's primary ballots are counted on May 20.

Oh yeah...Woo Hoo!!!

The rest of us Northwesterners know the heart of Oregonians. We trust them!

But I know that, like me, you'll always be a San Franciscan. It's in our DNA.

Judas.

Doesn't he know that the superdelegates are supposed to overturn the voters' decision?

3 to 1 this week...

This is good news, and a good sign that the bashing from the Media and Clinton about his non-electability is not paying off...

The politics of fear will not prevail against the will of the people...

By the way, Bill richardson on Larry King last night was superb...He kicked James Carville ass big time...

BR the Clintons think "they are entitle to the nomination and cling to their throne."

James Carville has no class and was sent back to his box...

Er, just a semantic point, but "drip...drip" and "rush" don't convey the same vibe.

Good news for BHO, tho. -BO

43 Mayors to endorse Obama in North Carolina today

http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/nchome

I hope this is true.

I recall seeing something like that in Pen regarding Hillary, but only ~10 showed up. Must have been raining or something.

It's about damned time, Wu! But you came though, and that's the important thing.

Actually, I didn't know about this until the noon news... One of the drawback of living on Tokyo time. When I went to that Obama rally it was the middle of my night! It's a good thing us Obama supporters like our lattes. But I was wearing steel toed motorcycle boots, not sandals. :)

Well, the net result of the drip, drip is that in two days Obama has gained 3 supers to Clinton's 1 new super, for a net gain of 2. So then, Clinton won PA by 9.4% and Obama picked up 2 new supers---make the net gain from PA down to 8 delegates now and still counting. Let's see if we can take it down to 4 BEFORE

... the end of the day?

Don't you believe it, Mary is the only one who kicks James ass.

By the way, what's with the Richardson goatee,
he trying to pander to hispanics.

Oh, uh and, and uh, somebody said he is or maybe one.

Well, it was a good thought anyway.

where is husseintenx today, she always has good thoughts about Obama's chances.

As an Oregonian I'll be supporting Wu in any way I can. I'm waiting for the ever-cautious DeFazio who has stayed in the congress with his finger in the wind for decades. If only someone run against this machine guy in a primary.
