In all fairness, she has at least gone to "medical school". :)
Oh, and of course, we can't pretend that Obama has any more experience at this job!
(I know, I know. Way to ruin a joke. It was funny.)

She has? When?
You are correct, we don't have to pretend Obama has more experience, he actually *does* have more experience:
Hillary's first job in Politics starts in the NY Senate race of 2000.
Meanwhile, Obama, who is 13 years younger than she, starts winning elections in 1996 -- 4 years earlier.
I really think you are missing the point of the video, Ben. Hillary's "experience" while married to Bill, is not like actual experience.

No, I got the point, and it's a fine point. By going to "medical school", I mean she's met the prerequisites in more ways than one (as has Obama). As for experience, it depends on what you count. Yes, Obama has more legislative experience, more substantial extra-legislative experience in dealing with poverty, etc. Hillary, however, has more total experience, if for no other reason than she's older. Neither of them have any executive experience. So, when we talk about "more experience", it's really a rather subjective thing until one defines exactly what type of experience we're talking about. The Hillary campaign likes to talk about one way of defining experience for her, but then use a totally different definition for him. I assume you know that I'm no Hillary fan, but I do want to make sure we don't mangle the facts.
That said, parody is parody, and I, too, love the red phone.

I got the link in an email from a relative of one of the producers. I liked it. And I just think it's good satire.

People on late night have used this specific example (wife of a doctor) as an argument against Hillary's claim of experience -- but this is a great visualization of it!
Thanks, TheraP!

Speaking as a retired surgeon, my wife of thirty years preferred we not discuss medicine at home. She was an accountant and I was loathe to discuss her work either. On the other hand, one of my colleagues married an OR nurse (scrub nurse) who was intensely interested in surgery. After eight years she was doing more than watching. She assisted, she closed, she learned a lot and was far more qualified then the new surgical residents coming in. Ultimately experience is what you make of it, and what you make of it is highly dependent on your goals, motivations and ambitions.
