Be we for Clinton or Obama, we can act in concert for a greater good -- stopping a war with Iran. 

The drumbeat started long ago, and has continued despite evidence that clearly demonstrates Iran is not an immediate threat.

It seems to me that this prolonged nomination process serves as an excellent screen to keep us preoccupied, so we don't actually sound the alarm bells that might stop this next war.

But we can do something.  Just pick up the phone.  Call your congressman and your senators.  Email them.  It will take about fifteen minutes of your time.  Call Pelosi and Read, too.  That will take another five minutes. 

If you feel like doing more, write to editors of your local papers and ask them to cover the issue fairly.  Submit letters and articles. 

You know, the obvious stuff. 

However, even the obvious can make a difference.

To borrow Obama's catchphrase (which is useful, no matter which candidate you support): yes we can stop this war.  We have to believe we can, anyway, or else we risk doing nothing.
