Will Hillary Clinton denounce and reject Gov. Spitzer's adultry

or will she be forgiving as she has forgave others for in the past over similar incidents.

Why should she?

Can she? Many of her own national co-chairs have been caught with their pants down. Hell, my idiot mayor was stumping for Clinton while he was schtupping his Telemundo honey. Clinton managed not to say anything about him or Newsome, who also cheated on his wife with the entire straight female population of Northern California. I can't see her acting like it's now a big deal with those two and her own history.

Besides, she still needs his superdeleate vote. It's not like she can act all hard in publica and then say something else later.

Oh wait...

I would hope that she would have some compassion, empathy and forgiveness for someone who exercises bad judgement, displays their human frailties for the world to see and besmirches his legacy. I have compassion for anyone who is publicly humiliated whether through his own bad judgement or someone else's.

I don't take any joy in seeing a fellow democrat go down in a hail of allegations. What a damned shame.

Yeah, it's also a shame that Obama's supporters here have immediately tried to hang all of this on Hillary, who had nothing to do with it.

I am constantly amazed at the short-sighted, wrong-headed stupidity - how do these people think we're going to get a dem elected without New York? If they're so completely lacking in empathy and compassion, the least they could do is be practical. The last thing we need in Nov. is an unco-operative New York governor and/or a feuding New York state party, and this is going to be a steaming pile of shit in another month or so for dems.

Hang on, there. Don't get carried away. We don't ALL try to hang any of this on Hillary. (Obama supporter, here.) Don't lump us all in one group!

Besides, I don't think this is intended to be serious, but it IS a pretty smart-assed snark. Definitely intended to rile folks up. Don't take the bait!

Since Spitzer has endorsed Hillary she must denounce and reject him due to his unethical and immoral behavior since that was the price she levied on Barack when he was told that Farrakhan was his supporter.

Hillary said it is not enough to denouce folks of odious words and deeds they must be publically rejected.

I expect to see this public rebuke of Spitzer from her very shortly.

It is especially important that she do so given her own weakness for forgiving such behavior when it has repeatitively occured in her own domestic situation.

Villarigosa needs to be rejected and denounced as well.

What a person does with his or private parts is and ought to be just that....PRIVATE!
GOD! Obama supporters what nest?
Gonna acuse Mrs. Clinton of murdering Vince Foster?!?!?

No, but her tactics over the past few weeks put Foster's suicide in an entirely new light, don't they?

No. Are you so bereft of decency that you think that's funny? What am I asking...of course you are.

Oh, come on now, jefo!

I know you're just being snarky, but this is silly! You're just going to stir up resentment at TPM with this...

We should think about how the Republican Party will use this--see Eric Kleefield's post about the efficiency with which the RNCC has latched onto this to take advantage
http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/03/nrcc_to_dems_return_spitzers_s.php.

Of course, they're desperate, since they're RUNNING OUT OF MONEY! Nyah, nyah! ;-) From yesterday's "The Crypt" at Politico.com:

"The National Republican Congressional Committee spent $1.2 million on the race -- nearly one-fifth of its entire cash on hand — in a failed attempt to hold on to what many political observers felt would be a fairly easy seat to retain.

"The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee spent just over $1 million in ads attacking Oberweis."

Oh, come on now, jefo! I know you're just being snarky to poke fun, but you're going to stir up resentment here at TPM...

We should note the RNCC has lost no time trying to take advantage of this scandal--see Eric Kleefield's recent report on TPMEC.

Of course, since they're RUNNING OUT OF MONEY, I guess they have to seize every opportunity available ;-) !

Now HERE's some worthwhile schadenfreude:

Sorry about the two posts--the TPM system said my first comment didn't go because I'd had too many recent comments...?????? That was a new one for me...

Hey Hillary, what about your supporter, fundraiser and member of your financial committee who recently said Obama was only winning because he was a black man? She must resign, and you must denounce and reject!!
