Part 1: She will lose the Democratic nomination because superdelegates can do math.
Part 2: Her last name is Clinton. This could doom her in the general election if she were to win the nomination.
Part 3: Iraq vote. Just as John Kerry was branded a flip flopper, so will Hillary for voting for the war and now saying we need to get out of Iraq.
Part 4: Her campaign is run by over priced consultants who are not committed to a solid organizing ground game and who have demonstrated that they are stuck in an outdated campaign model.
Part 5: Democrats will unite around Clinton, but independents, especially young independent voters, do not.
We don't need another narcissistic Presidency.
We dont need a beginner either, would you hire a beginning accountant to run your corporate headquarters accounting office with out the requisite training? I don't think so, unless you wanted to go into bankruptcy as we are with another beginner.
Hillary Will Never Be President
The same can be said of Obama. Now c'mon everybody...let's drink a toast to the soon-to-be president, John McCain.

OK ... one complete round of hemlocks! Bottoms up!

You know Jefo, unlike Clinton, there has never been a habit of calling Ferraro Geraldine. When she has been called by her first name, it was Gerry Ferraro, Gerry.
Your use of her first name - which cannot be excused by ubiquity or her own use of it - and your use in a way that it is not used reveals how deep your sexism is, because using a woman's first name while using men's last names is the way you infantilize women.
So Ferraro served one useful purpose in the campaign because you have no excuse to hide behind now when you trivilize the woman by using her first name.

Boy, I'm going to start posting with blank text. You started quite a dialogue. However I agree with Urbinato: "Superdelegates can do math" period.
good greif
Good grief who would have thought a white slate would equal Oblapies policies, priceless.
I wonder what the four installments look like?
perhaps they should be two/toned, equality is everything ya know.
Sorry folks, this old guy f**cked up with the techology (I still love my IBM Selectric I)... here is Part I.
WHY HILLARY WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT
There is already much discussion of how Hillary Rodham Clinton lost the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008. The answer is not complicated: 2004 & 2006. Due to her greatest weakness, her hyper-cautiousness, she made the political calculation not to challenge George W. Bush in 2004. Then, in 2006, both Bill & Hillary Clinton failed to understand the results of the we-want-real-change election -- It is almost breathtaking.
While the take-no-prisoners, the country-be-damned style of politics was alive and well in 2004, the election of 2006 demonstrably showed otherwise. It is these factors that has made Hillary’s 2008 campaign such a disaster as she flails about destroying the Democratic Party in the process. The above cited decisions & failures effectively ended any chance she ever had to become president of the United States. There will be a woman as President in the White House; it will not be Hillary Rodham Clinton.
