Why didn't Chelsea say something?
On of the things that bugs me about this story is how long it took Hillary to have her memory refreshed. Certainly the first time she said it the many people that knew better and are Clinton supports would have mentioned to her that she might have been mistaken.
Chelsea was there at the time and it's surprising that she didn't say something to her mom, on the other hand maybe Chelsea didn't hear what her mom had claimed. What I think is more probable is that at this point most of the people around Clinton have turned into unwavering Clinton supporters. She can do no wrong, so even if they know something to be false they won't say anything. This is a bad sign for the campaign as it portends that Hillary is in a bubble and when your in a bubble it's hard to be an effective campaigner.
