I think we're all missing the boat here. If you look closely at what she said, before she came out with this junk about the exit polls, I don't think Geraldine Ferraro was upset that black people are voting for Obama. She's upset that WHITE people are voting for Obama. And she is trying to make the claim that WHITE people are voting for him because he's black. Why? Because, she would have us believe,  no sensible white person would pick Obama over Hillary unless they were buying into the idea of racial transcendence.

That is the argument we should be looking at. It's also, imo, equally bunk. But at least it would back us off of this brewing race war.
