The Surge is Working.. hmmm
Here is what the Iraqi PM said at a news conference in the presence of the Iranian President.... “I think that the level of trust is very high,”
Maliki said. “And I say frankly that the position Iran has taken
recently was very helpful in bringing back security and stability.”
So is it the surge that's working or is it the support offered by Iran? The Iraqi PM seems to be implying that Iran has played a major role in recreating security and stability in Iraq.
I thought Bush and crew said it was the surge which did it. I don't know now. Probably a good talking point for Obama to spew.

Anyone who thinks, especially with Saddam Hussein dead, that Iran is not already involved in the affairs of Iraq is kidding themselves. This relationship exists and we can only expect it to grow.
Kyl-Lieberman is not simply some token piece of legislation.
