The Final Frontier for Clintons - INTIMIDATION
The Clinton's broadside against Pelosi and the Dems Congressional Campaign is unabashed attempted Intimidation. The FAT CAT supporters of the Clinton campaign have now threatened to hold back donations if they do not get what they want -- Hillary Clinton as the nominee. I can only imagine the direct and indirect threats being made to super- delegates through Clinton surrogates .
I have news for the FAT CATS, they are soon to be relics of a past of corruption and undue influence. Senator Obama has shown how grass rots fundraising can completely overwhelm traditional FAT CAT LOBBYIST AND WEALTHY INDIVIDUALS donations.
Were Obama to ask his supporters, including me, to donate 25 dollars to the Dems Congressional campaign today I think he would likely get a positive response and raise 3- 4 million within a few days. I know I would respond. Likewise, if he provided a list of candidates he supports I would send a donation to those candidates. While my donation would be small, the tens of thousands of others who would follow suit would make a significant impact.
I think everyone gets the picture-- extortion by the Clinton campaign wont work. The page has already turned but the Clinton's just don't know it yet.

Are there any documented threats posed to superdelegates by Hillary?

Why wait for him. You see the need. Send an e-mail of support to Speaker Pelosi and a donation to the DCCC.

MY LETTER TO NANCY PELOSI
April 27, 2008
NANCY PELOSI
Office of the Speaker
H-232, US Capitol
Washington, DC 20515
Tel: (202) 225-0100
Email: AmericanVoices@mail.house.gov
Dear Mme. Speaker,
I have taken the opportunity to read several times over the letter from a number of Sen. Clinton's donors/supporters. At first read …I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but have finally concluded that there is an implicit threat of withholding financial support for the DCCC if you do not change your position to accommodate those of her campaign.
I will confess that I am a Barack Obama supporter and I do believe that your position with respect to the super delegates is fair and in line with the party rules as I know them. Your position has been steadfast no matter who has been ahead or has the momentum throughout the campaign or I should say …since it has become clear that the super delegates will be involved in the democratic nominee selection and you’ve voiced your position.
In light of this letter from Sen. Clinton's camp, I would like to make it very clear the should my conclusion, which appears to be shared by many ring true and these donors do in fact withhold their financial support I would be more than happy to donate via the internet to as many House Democratic candidates as I possibly can when that time comes. I am confident that should Sen. Obama request donations from his supporters for candidates he supports; the response would be overwhelming and will negate their withdrawal of finances.
As has been evident in his campaign, the American people believe in this candidate and what he stands for and his election to the Whitehouse will change the political landscape.
I am asking that you remain steadfast in your position and not be swayed by intimidation.
Thank you,
Sincerely,
