Racist Ferraro: Today's Bob Kerrey.
It's no wonder John Lewis turned on the Clintons, following black voters rather than taking what should have been a lead after Bill Clinton's racist rant in South Carolina. Anyway you slice it, the Clintons are showing just how dirty they really are and earning every lost vote from African Americans and people who find their divisive use of race to harm Senator Obama. Kos again has put his finger on it:
More classiness, from one of Clinton's top surrogates, Geraldine Ferraro.
If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.
Ferraro isn't some unknown lower-level or obscure advisor, but one of her top fundraisers, member of Clinton's finance committee, and a former Democratic vice presidential nominee.
There have been enough incidents whether it's a high level campaign aide saying simply that "He's the black candidate," or Mandy Grunwald's racist ad to show a distinct racist pattern here. I'm shocked but I guess I really shouldn't be by now being that there kitchen sink strategy seems to be trying to steal the election as well. Knowing the Clintons, they'll probably use the grieving Silda Spitzer to draw Hillary's next public tears. They are beyond shameless.

Great! More lovely commentary from the Clintons & Team.
They've tried everything so far: First there was the "kid" talk from Bill, then there was the "fairy tale", then we migrated to "Black candidate (see Jesse J. 84 and 88)", then we moved to some states don't matter because they either have too many black people or held caucuses, then the "Commander-in-chief threshold" nonsense, then the VP stuff, now we're back to good old bigotry.
More proof that if you want something different this year, Obama is your man!
