OBAMA!! BECAUSE BRAINS MATTER

Geraldine Ferraro 's appreciation of Obama's DNA was merited, if misplaced:  Daddy was a Harvard PhD.(economics--yeah, it was news to ME too) and, of course, Editor in Chief, Harvard Law Review is a famous affirmative action slot...

Which is offered in support of Michelle Obama's wry remark that the American people don't get a shot at president's as smart as her man very often, and this was their only chance at Obama.

Since there really is no doubt (is there?...) that he is way brighter than Hillary (who is whip smart herself), let's get this bumper sticker out before the general election, because otherwise McCain's toadies will claim it's a low blow at St. John Scrambledeggsforbrains

editor...famous affirmative action slot

Both Adlai Stevenson and George McGovern were seen as the intellectual candidates and they polled well among the thinking class. Both candidates also handily lost in the general election. Thinking back, I'd like to say that only Bill Clinton has been the "smart" candidate that prevailed.

This is one of the reasons that all of the Obama supporters noting the educational gap between his voters and Hillary's has grated on my nerves. It'd be very difficult to win in the fall, if the supposed brilliance of the candidate and his supporters were highlighted to such an extent because it ordinarily wouldn't play well among the majority of voters.

Well, that, of course, is detestable elitism.

That said, aren't we tired of the boobocracy, as Mencken styled it?

Plus, Barack is a natural politician. I knew Adlai Stevenson, and Barack Obama is (thank you Jesus) no Adlai Stevenson.

Above all, let the subtext of the bumper sticker be:

"Voters, beware! We've already had one president in the early throes of Alzheimer's"

I am thinking, above all, that perhaps the subliminal message will be:

"Voters, beware! We've already had one President in the early throes of Alzheimer's."
