Obama: 50 States, 50 Generals

avatar

Senator Barack Obama has made a serious mistake in not giving a better answer to the national security question than, "Hillary's not experienced either!"

Where is his retired military support? Why don't we see more of them? Can we put together a corp of field-grade and up military officers that represents all 50 states? And Puerto Rico?

I think the Obama campaign is so anxious to show that both he and his opponent have the same level of experience (none) that they have failed to really answer the question of what he is going to do about it.

Look, when the phone rings at 3 a.m., I want Obama to answer it. But I want him to show the good judgment to CALL SOMEONE ELSE. Please show me us that person. Show us that, when national security issues arise, lights flicker on on every coast, in every region, in every state--because the Commander-In-Chief is on the line!

Sounds like a pretty strong visual image to me.

Do it because many American *are worried about the safety of the country and their families. And that isn't cowardice.

It's common sense.

My guess is he could come up with one or two field grade endorsements at best.

But I want him to show the good judgment to CALL SOMEONE ELSE.

You want the President and Commander in Chief to call someone else? Well, he could call Hillary. Seriously, though, Obama should not try to out-hawk Hillary. His anti-war stance is his strength.
