McCain Caught Lying About Iraq, Or Just Being Incompetent
I can't stand TPM's content management system destroying my posts, so I'm just going to point you to the original post on my blog (besides there is a poll that I can't add on here anyway). But here is the gist: McCain gave a speech today on Iraq, and lied about US involvement in the recent attacks which left Bush looking like an idiot and the Maliki government in bad shape. You can read the whole thing here, and please vote on the poll (on the right hand side) whether you think McCain lied, or that he is just incompetent.

In my opinion McCain is incompetent, delusional, and dishonest. I see no benefit in trying to figure out which of those characteristics is foremost in any of his statements.

Ha, maybe I should have worded to to pick "the best option", not as an either or kind of thing.
I agree that he at least lies a lot and is incompetent a lot...I'm not inclined to give him a free pass by saying he is delusional though. He is old but not that old, yet.
