It will be an all out brawl!
It will be an all out brawl!
That's what a Hillary supporter is quoted as saying, on the front page of TPM.
Think about that. The idea of an "all out brawl" between Obama supporters and Hillary supporters is considered to be a good thing by Hillary supporters.
The superdelegates [were created] to make the educated decision that voters sometimes can't.
Think about that. From the perspective of a Hillary supporter, mere voters can't be trusted to make good decisions. Oh, no. The elite superdelegates sometimes have to step in and save the poor, ignorant voters from themselves.
This is the sort of point of view needed to be a Hillary supporter these days: a preference for divisiveness, and a disdain for the preferences of mere voters.
(Trying this again from a different browser to see if that fixes the HTML problems. Sorry for the double post.)

First let me say that I am a strong Obama supporter before I say that it I believe that it is the role of the super delegates to use their own judgement.
Otherwise they would be pledged delegates or have some sort of criteria to determine how they vote.
And I hope that they would make some sort of educated decision on behalf of their constituents, the party, and the country. Which is why I see them voting for Obama unless they are somehow in the pocket DEM establishment

Um...er, the "DEM establishment" is behind Obama! Checked his endorsements lately?
And from you...Vote for my guy and you're making an educated decision. Vote for the other candidate and you're just a "DEM exstablishment" hack? Comical. Ignorant...but comical!

It's the role of the Super-delegates to do everything they can to ensure that a Democrat gets into the White House. They have to take everything into consideration, including the fact that the Republicans probably will effectively use race fears to attack Obama, just as they have done for as long as I can remember, along with the inexperience argument.
Also, I still find it suspect that the Republicans are so loudly proclaiming how much they would rather run against Hillary. "Beware of Greeks bearing gifts." I think they want to run against Obama, but they don't want us to know that. They want us to nominate Obama because they have an arsenal of character assassination just waiting to be revealed at the perfect time. There's not much new they can do to Hillary that isn't already somewhat yada yada yada blah blah blah.
And if there is going to be an all out brawl between Obama people and Clinton people, then we Democrats are a lot dumber than even the Republicans think.

If anyone wants to vote for McCain because of something Obama did or didn't do, piss on em'.
They were not a democrat in the first place. The letter on the cover of TPM just shows how people can be sore losers. Hillary ran a very nasty campaign because she's desperate. She did everything possible to hurt our chances in November because she's childish. Obama out classed her 10 to 1.
It's time for Hillary to get out and stay out. I have lost all respect for her.
