Is Obama Challenging the media?

I've realized Obama is consistent on his message regarding compressing a numerous sermons into 30 second soundbytes. While he is saying this I'm wondering, is that good enough?  Don't he needs to elaborate a little more? Well, I think anyone with a critical mind knows that it's really hard to get the full picture of something if you don't review the whole context. I would hope that anyone would know that, whether they have critical thinking skills or not. But anyways, it's just an observation that I've made. So I hope that you guys can possibly provide more insight on this. The fact that he is staying on message about this in all of his interviews, is he channeling the audience to really think fully about this? And he sounds so confident and positive about it. But I think he is also challenging the media who dishonestly chose to show these miniclips without the full context. By him continously saying this, he's putting the media on spot by forcing them to show the full sermons. I think it's rather brilliant. What are your thoughts?
