How could Hillary and Bill do this to Chelsea?
Imagine how Chelsea feels now that her Dad went on Limbaugh's radio show to encourage Republicans to cross over so that Hillary could keep in Limbaugh's words: "Bloodying Obama for the general election"
Limbaugh calls your preteen daughter "a dog" on his national radio show and you go on his show to pimp for Republicans voting in Dem primaries to help Dems lose in November?
How could a father do that? How could a man do that? How could a Democrat do that?
How could Hillary send him?
Forget about Hagee, Farrakahn, etc. If Hillary is a woman, a mother, a feminist, or a Democrat she will reject and rebuke these actions by Bill Clinton.
Their own actions say far worse things about their character than any sexist rant by Chris Matthews or his ilk.
I defended the Clintons against all comers in the 90s. When the campaign began, I thought, "Great, we have 3 superb candidates any of whom are far superior to anyone the GOP might nominate."
Then I read Obama's books and began leaning toward him.
Then Hillary started distorting Obama's rather mild and sensible foreign policy positions and I decided. I'm voting for Obama, but I'm not giving any money to anyone until the primaries are over and a nominee is apparent because I don't want to fund attacks by Democrats on other Democrats.
Then came the red phone ad and I was so outraged I broke my pledge and gave $50 to Obama.
Now Hillary is endorsing McCain and encouraging Republicans to vote for her now so that McCain will have an easier time in the fall. I'm going to send $100 to Obama.
At the rate she's going, I'm going to end up taking out a second mortgage and sending it all to Obama.

The Clintons, Bill and Hillary are talking out of both ends of their mouth. They attempt to tarnish Barack Obama's reputation at one setting and then hint they would make him VP if they are elected in the other.
I hope Obama gets the nomination so it won't be him getting the VP offer, it'll be Hillary. Lets see if she accepts it or not.
THAT's the moment I want to see. ^^ What would Hillary do?

Right! Obama needs a VP with REAL experience, and perhaps some military creds; someone the republican Congress can grudgingly respect.
I think, when it is all said and done, Barack should just say, "You know, I considered Hillary for the position, but I just don't think she's qualified."

Well, what do you expect? She's also endorsed for president a man who is not only a Republican but who told the following joke about her daughter (and her own sexual preferences) at a Republican fundraiser in 1998.
"Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly?
Because her father is Janet Reno."
For more on the pass that the press was giving McCain even back then, see:

I think it's very telling that she would say that someone who told such a sexist joke is qualified to be President.
It's simply amazing. She's not willing to stand up for her own daughter and she wants me to believe that she's going to fight for me?
What a joke!

Gee, how can you say the Clintons don't stand up for Chelsea? They assisted the former "pre-med" into a cushy job at a hedge fund, and she's working her way up the social ladder in NYC society (ballet board or somesuch).
They obviously appreciated McCain's comments, and paid for extensive plastic surgery to "glam" and beautify" their daughter.
So Chelsea seems well on her way to emulating the values of her parents: power, money, ego, prestige (of a certain sort).
Sure, she isn't the only one on this path, and doesn't have to use her incredible privilege to become the doctor she once claimed she wanted to be, or build houses for poor people, or be a giving person.
But Hillary's campaign claims HRC is a "role model" for women, espcially women who want to have both family and a career, who wanted to find their "own voices" and be themselves (despite the sexism in society.) Yet, as noted, McCain and Limbaugh, both out front sexists, are fine if they can move HRC a step forward on the path to power.

Hmmm... seems to be a clear case of Hillary pimping out Bill.
If you know what I mean.

If women were to stop dealing with sexists, they'd have no path to success at all.
It's good to see "progressives" chomping at the bit to retell their favorite Chelsea and Monica jokes.

Amazing.. So Hillary Clinton is never accountable for her own actions? She's totally excused from all culpability for her own choices because it's a sexist world? She's been snuggling up to Rupert Murdoch and Rush Limbaugh because she's just a victim of circumstance? Please...

The answer:
The Clintons are not human, they are monsters. (And one of them is a sexually harassing, accused rapist monster in particular)

I agree that women have to deal with sexists. Does that mean there are no standards to who they deal with, and on what terms? Do you believe that embracing and legitimizing some of the worst (as opposed to challenging them) is therefore OK? I don't, and I don't think HRC and Bill are in a position that they have to. That's all I was trying to say.

Plowboys,
Welcome to the swelling ranks of patriotic Americans that Hillary Clinton no longer gives a damn about. There are snacks and drinks in the fridge. Help yourself. You'll see a lot of familiar faces around and people whose stories are just like yours. We've got a handy checklist so that everyone gets the information they need as we move forward. In case things get worse over the course of the next two weeks, as a fellow Obama supporter and proud Democrat, I should point this out: $2,300 is the max for the Primary. And you can also give another $2,300 for the general. You're going to be called lots of names. People are going to say that you drink "kool aid" or that our candidate came on the Hale-Bopp comet. I guess none of Hillary's blue collar supporters like kool aid, but that's another story. Again, Welcome!

You Obamabots are disgusting human beings, or in Limbaugh's word, "Dogs". You stoop so low to attack a former President who has done so much for the party and this country. You should all be ashamed of yourselves, period!
