Hillary's Bad Boys Redux
With the Elliot Spitzer news, I thought I'd re-post this from last month because there is somewhat of a pattern in the types of men Hillary has backing her. There must be some type of psychological condition that brings her to them after the humiliation and trauma that Bill put her (and Democrats) through. I'm angry with Spitzer sort of the way I was with Bill, and I'm betting she is too, but remains strangely drawn to them.

Hillary's Bad Boy Backers
February 19, 2008, 7:41PM
If NOW was serious about making a difference for women, they would hit their beloved Hillary Clinton with taking support from disgusting misogynists like Henry Cisneros and Antonio Villaraigosa who hurt the Democratic Party in California and Texas the same way Bill Clinton did with his womanizing before and during his time in the White House. If you know the history, Cisneros's philandering ways probably had a big part in getting George W. Bush into the governor's mansion in Texas. A dirt cloud still floats around him like Charlie Brown's pal Pig Pen as it does for Villaraigosa whose scandal is very much alive and still somewhat fresh in L.A. Is Hillary psychologically drawn to this type of man, or is she willing do anything and give up any principal in order to win or be thought of as the "first Latina President?"

This commentary is a real find. Great observation and one I never thought about. So true - it takes a special kind of person to get involved with a sociopath, and who often are misogynists.
Makes you wonder.

Surely we aren't saying that Spitzer is a misogynist because he saw a prostitute?

I am supporting Obama.
We who admire and support him would serve Obama better if we did not attack anyone over this most recent tragic flap!
Let everyone's behavior speak for itself.
Let us happily admire our own candidate and leave SOME thoughts unspoken.
I am FOR Obama defending himself vigorously AND WITH INTEGRITY. I do not agree with the idea I read and hear that defending himself against the dishonest tactics of the Clintons or Republicans will negate his whole identity and message. He MUST defend himself, but with honesty and with the great thoughtfulness and sense of humor he clearly possesses (and is useing better and better as this campaign goes on).
