Hillary , just now on CNN, said she hadn't seen Obama's speech, or read the transcript. Yeah Right!!!!!!!
Hillary Clinton is on CNN right now. She said she "hadn't seen Barack Obama's speech or read the transcript", but that she was glad "he gave it". And then something to the effect of "this race will make history by electing the first African American or woman president" Then blah blah blah. But man, does she look worn down! If she in fact hasn't seen it, I bet enough of her staff saw it and told her about it --- enough to make her think "AWWWW SHIT!!!!!!!!!!"

Well here's my presidential threshold:
If she has Presidential mettle she should say: "I know Barack Obama, these comments by his pastor do not reflect his views, who he is, or what his campaign is about. Democratic voters should decide based on real issues not this kind of diversion."
By the way, did anyone else catch that McCain the other day day said almost exactly this: "I know Senator Obama and this [referencing the comments repeated by the interviewer] is not who he is." He seemed truly exasperated to be asked the question. YOu can be cynical and assume he had some other motive. Me I prefer to think he actual has a sense of decency about him that is more important than political calculation. Let's see if Sen. Clinton ahs the same.
