First McCain, now Huckabee ... can Hillary rise to their level?
First we had McCain supporting Obama on the Wright issue:<a href="http://tpmcafe.talkingpointsmemo.com/talk/2008/03/john-mccain-supports-obama-on.php">http://tpmcafe.talkingpointsmemo.com/talk/2008/03/john-mccain-supports-obama-on.php</a>
McCain said "I know Senator Obama, he does not share those views."
Now Huckabee:<a href="http://www.slate.com/blogs/blogs/xxfactor/archive/2008/03/20/an-fair-minded-republican.aspx">http://www.slate.com/blogs/blogs/xxfactor/archive/2008/03/20/an-fair-minded-republican.aspx</a><a href="http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/03/huckabee-defend.html">http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/03/huckabee-defend.html</a>
With two examples to follow, maybe Hillary and her supporters will aspire to having has much class as these Republican candidates.

Now why would it let you re-post the whole thing and not me? In any case, thanks!

Don't know—do you use Firefox?
(Maybe it helps that I'm actively working to help my digital brethren achieve consciousness.)

The TPM posting software hates me. Take two:
First we had McCain supporting Obama on the Wright issue:

McCain said "I know Senator Obama, he does not share those views."

Split into smaller pieces because with too many links, it's "held for moderation" or something like that:
Now Huckabee:

And I still had to leave out one link to get it to post. The TPM posting software really, really sucks.

Yeah, right Rabbit. McCain is a classy guy - so is Huckabee.
What a brainwashed piece of work. It's a good thing you're a republican. I'd hate to think that a democrat could be this dumb.

They're not classy guys in general. But on this issue they gave classy answers. The sort of answers one might hope a fellow Democrat would be even quicker to give.
Hillary didn't, and won't. Why?

You know, it's too bad you don't know the history of McCain and his staff. Steve Nelson might be a place to start. This is a classic, and I mean CLASSIC McCain dirty trick. He pushes the tapes to Fox, his staff releases daily memos directing the press to the tapes and then he denounces it. This is exactly the way he worked Bill Cunningham - have Cunningham do the dirty work for him and then denounce Cunningham. Meanwhile, he's on Imus's new show, calling Imus his "old friend" and wishing him luck with the show. I really wonder whose side it is you're on.

You mean like supporting McCain's credentials as C-in-C over a Democratic candidate?

No, I mean like Obama promoting the republicans as "the party of ideas" and castigating the dems as "tax and spend liberals".

Hillary is both a republican and a reptile. Both republican front-runners have, if nothing else, a lot more human decency than she does.
