Really, we have to salute this kind of defense. Someone makes a racist comment, a la Ferraro, and then when the shitstorm comes down, rather than put her head down and say "My comments were inappropriate," or even "my comments were taken out of context," (The Mother of all Non-Apology Apologies) she just charges full speed into the belly of the beast: "They're attacking me because I'm white!" The American media doesn't know how to handle this kind of craziness. What the fuck? We called you racist, and then you called us reverse-racist? Well, you're racist-reverse-racist! Ferraro would have no choice but to respond with either some kind of analogy involving rubber and glue, or she could simply scream "Fuck the Poor," light a monk from Burma on Fire and then ride off on a chariot leaving Jason to stare at his dead children. Obama still wins Mississippi, but score one for the Clinton Team: Operation Stupid, The Mark Penn Directive, lives on to fight another day, Res Ipsa Loquitur...
