Donations Needed: Innoculating the DNC against Hillary's Donor's Threats
I haven't seen a link to this Daily Kos diary posted yet, so I'd like to spread this information...
Diary on Daily Kos - McAuliffe ambushing Dean? -- Need Action
From the diary:
The Clinton/McAuliffe wing of the party would like nothing more than toThe poster and others on DKos have banded together to gather donations for Dean in order to blunt the impact of Hillary's donor's attempts to hold the DNC hostage (in particular, I think Dean has shown himself a very capable leader of the DNC and I don't want to see him embattled because of this nomination fight).
see Dean removed from the DNC, and frankly I see them using the fight
over the seating of Michigan and FL delegates to be part of their
attempt to bring him down in an fight about whose really has the power
to make the rules in the Democratic Party.
Well, I guess that's about it.
If you want the link directly to the ActBlue donation page, please go here. I'll be donating later this evening.

What you are saying is you want to disenfranchise innocent voters who had no say in any of the decisions made. Granted, seating the delegates as is would not be fair but you are fighting the negotiations that might lead to a revote. This is so similar to Gore vs Bush. The Obama supporters have become republicans.

Wrong. Hillary's donors have no business holding the DNC hostage to try to get them to do what Hillary wants.
Dean has given the states their options for seating their delegates. It's in the state's hands. Unless you advocate changing the rules midway through an election cycle? What sort of message would that send? "Complain enough and you too can control the party's presidential nominee!"
Also wrong. Nobody is fighting negotiations, not Obama's team, not Hillary's team. Neither is Dean. Michigan has established a re-vote plan both campaigns has endorsed. It is within the DNC's rules. The problem here is what exactly?
Hillary's donors are trying to strongarm the DNC into changing the rules in her favor, and they have no business doing so.
Yeah, good luck changing people's minds with that.

No they are not. They are trying to force a revote in Fl.

Ever travel in a country where the price for everything for sale has to be negotiated? Hillary isn't talking about seating the MI delegates anymore is she? She got her revote. Now she fights for Fl. She pushes for something they can't stomach, seating the delegates as is. Her surrogates have offered to put up 15 million for a revote. They have to get the other half together to pay for a Fl revote. She's like a pit bull she won't let go. That's why she can beat the republicans. Obama might be able to beat Clinton in a pattycake democratic primary and much as you don't see it that's what this is. But he just can't beat the republicans and their down and dirty.
