Cognitive Dissonance isn't just a conservative trait
I read with absolute fascination DS piece about how that Obama should "take one for the team".
This is reminiscent of W's comments about the Iraq war and other arenas where there is virtually complete disassociation from reality. it is tough, really tough sometimes, to admit that it just didn't work this time, even when "this time" is likely the last time.
I agree with Josh and others, simply telling her that it isn't working is about as useful as telling w he has made a terrible mistake - it bounces like a canon ball off Old Iron Sides. It is time to stop fighting - perhaps that is one of the problems - she's a gun fighter, and the time for gun fighting has past. And like the gun fighters of old, she doesn't know her time is up.

I found it insulting to supporters of Hillary that Josh decided to front page that post. Its silly to suggest that Obama take the vp slot when he's winning. There are interesting and informative posts from Hillary supporters and Obama supporters as well as ignorant posts from both.
While its unlikely that Hillary can win this race is still close enough that she could win the popular vote. I support her staying in until all states have voted.

I'm not sure how you find it insulting. I've seen similar comments from HRC supporters on other sites. I do think Josh may be trolling a bit here on a slow Sunday eve, but the sentiments expressed are all too real and seriously unrealistic.
It's hard to know when to retire - look at pro athletes - they often stay around for a season or two to long and sully their reputation. I think that is what is going on here. Combined with the loss of power incumbent in losing, it makes leaving hard - but she's the one who touts her judgment.

It was a silly post and I think most supporters of Hillary would agree. I'm sure I could find a post from the fringe of the Obama supporters that most Obama supporters would find just as silly. I doubt you would be happy if that post from the fringe was put on the front page as somehow indicative of Obama supporters as a whole.
