Clinton Campaign Has Been Pushing Rev. Wright Issue To SuperDelegates
Taz man at DailyKos found the NYTimes article for tomorrow's paper describing the Clinton Campaign's efforts to use, among other things, the Rev. Wright flare up to convince SuperDelegates that Obama is not electable.
Finally, Mrs. Clinton’s aides hope that disclosures about Mr.
Obama’s past like the one involving Mr. Wright could give
superdelegates’ pause. Mr. Devine said he thought that at least in
terms of Democratic primary voters Mr. Obama had turned the furor to
his advantage with his speech on race.“Obama, confronted by an issue that was boiling, seemed to wade into
it with a speech that was in many ways profound,” Mr. Devine said. “As
a result, now these people who were so interested and awakened by his
candidacy are back with him again. Instead of this being a setback, it
becomes an opportunity.”But the audience now is as much the Democratic superdelegates, who
are especially attuned to politics and questions of electability in the
fall, as it is rank-and-file voters.Mrs. Clinton’s advisers said they had spent recent days making the
case to wavering superdelegates that Mr. Obama’s association with Mr.
Wright would doom their party in the general election. That argument could be Mrs. Clinton’s last hope for winning this contest.

She will say and do anything to win. If she wouldn't she would of conceded by now since the only way she can win the nomination is by very low tactics.

Slimy stuff. Very slimy, but sadly predictable.

Oh, come on. Just because the author can't imagine any deeper depths to which the Hillary campaign can stoop, doesn't mean she won't come up with something. Who expected a Democrat to argue that the Republican was a better candidate than her Democratic opponent? It was unprecedented, and therefore unpredictable. Or the 3am ad, taking the Republican frame for national security wholesale, in spite of the fact that it doesn't work as an argument in her favor in the slightest. It was a short-term attack on Obama that was stupid in any long-term sense, and so again, not what anyone anticipated.
I'd bet dollars to donuts that Hillary will find some new depths to plumb before the race is over.

I don't know why people are surprised by this. When you only have one bullet left in your gun you are going to use it.
I'm an Obama supporter, but, frankly, I think this Pastor Wright issue is fair game to sell to the superdelegates. I mean, his damaged electability is an issue now. Personally, with a few deep breaths, Obama moves on from this and will occasionally have to deal with it in the general. But it is a problem, and any smart (losing) politico would be foolish not to use this.
Her campaign has done many slimy things throughout this primary, but I don't believe this is one of them.

Was there a direct quote of either a Clinton advisor or a superdelegate verifying that this is a strategy being used?

If they find any proof that this story is true I will dump HRC and back Obama.

Agreed. I am a black Obama supporter who is no fan of Clinton whatsoever, but I see absolutely nothing wrong in Clinton using this issue with superdelegates privately. It would be sad for her to make a public issue out of this, but Obama's electability is now a serious issue.
As much as I believe an Obama presidency would be the best opportunity for America, I still believe a McCain presidency would continue America's downfall in so many respects. A Democrat in office has got to be everyone's priority.

Of course, as soon as I post a blog about how I would support Clinton no matter what, this comes out. I guess I'm not surprised. That said, she does have a right to do this - whether I agree with it or not, she is making her case and while most of the Obama fans (myself included) think this is ridiculous - she's just trying to extend the post Wright drop that happened.

I wonder if this

changes how much they will push this? You really have to laugh, I think.
