Bush/Obama/Iraq/Surge
So now that Iraq has so openly embraced Iran and is now openly thanking Iran for its support does it now mean that Bush can retract his condemnation of Obama for his willingness to have dialogue with Iran?
As Bush sees it, Iran is head of the axis of evil and yet Bush's Iraq has publicly embraced this member of the prestigious axis of evil club. Why would Iraq accept Iran so openly and not have some measure of pre-conditions established? What are the bad signals that this red carpet meeting is sending to the world and US allies?
Will Bush come out with the same gusto and criticize Iraq in the same measure that he criticised Obama? Or will he go behind the scenes and demand that Iraq rip up that red carpet and scoot the Iranian President out?
It is all very interesting and yet very silly. Obama's position on solving world based conflicts is correct. Communication opens doors to conflict resolution. Silence develop ulcers and various cancers. Its a stupid approach.. but thats what I expect from the Bush clan.
