Who do you think you are? This isn't a playground and your bullying tactics are nothing more than a passive/aggressive need to ingratiate yourself with others.
I don't criticize Obama, I don't blog hyperbolic, meanspirited and false stories about him and I don't "call out others" on a political forum as if this is a game of Ally Over. I say exactly what I mean and I address it to the person with whom I agree or disagree and I don't hide behind others in order to do it.
I support the democratic nominee, whoever it is, because there is something more at stake here than a selfish, my way or the highway and I'm gonna take my toys and go home if you don't play the game I want to play. Both democratic candidates would make good presidents and I'll happily cast my vote for that democrat but what I won't do as a democrat is to allow the same kind of calumnies, lies, canards, rumours and accusations stand about either candidate because I know from the 2000 election that not responding is morally wrong.
As an adult I recognize that campaign rhetoric is just that - rhetoric, and I am aware that it often gets out of hand, it gets heated, it gets emotional and it often gets downright silly and I can objectively look at all campaigns and separate the wheat from the chaff without ascribing ulterior motives to any candidate, principally because I am not a mind reader and I don't know what their ulterior motives are or if they even have any and neither does anyone else.
No matter which democrat is nominated I will vote for that democrat, I will volunteer for that democrat and I will support that democrat.

There's a contradiction inherent in the notion of "bullying tactics", on the one hand, and being "passive/aggressive" on the other. But I guess you know all about contradictions. For example, I could contrast your comment of a half an hour ago with this one:
"Oh yes, I'm hoping to see you all canonized en masse. I regularly submit "Obama Supporters" to the Vatican recommending them for sainthood. I think it's the forbearance that really stands out."
That was you yesterday at 9:54 pm.

So maybe the more pressing question is who do you think YOU are? As far as my so-called "need to ingratiate [my]self with others," I made an attempt to start a dialogue about some observations that I've heard a lot of people making in their own way. You stepped in talking about "cannonization" rather than making a substantive contribution to a direct request. If you don't like being called out, guess what: You just don't like being called out.

That wasn't making fun of Obama, that was making fun of you. There's a difference. Obama supporters have no particular lease on moral superiority - I've read your posts, I know.
And of course, there is no contradiction in passive/aggressive behavior and bullyism - that's the definition of bullyism. I'm not going to be drawn into the ambush by the Obama supporters like you who think you have it all figured out. Clinton's not all bad and Obama's not all good but they would BOTH make good presidents and I'm not interested in any short term gain while sacrificing the long term goal.

Oh, BevD...
Further proof that reading comprehension is on the decline in this great nation of ours. I didn't think you were making fun of Barack Obama. I never suggested that. And I don't care if you make fun of me. To me, your opinion is of commensurate value with its quality. I offered you an opportunity to respond substantively to a substantive post. As usual, you demured. That's why I included you in "The Gang of 12," as some of us have taken to calling you. You talk a big game but you lack substance.

Oh dear, some of you have taken to calling posters names. Gee, why doesn't anyone want to respond to your post? Speaking of reading comprehension, I have said over and over that I support the dem candidate, but for some reason you just cannot accept that, can you? You want to make meanspirited observations about Clinton and you just cannot understand why people don't want to be manipulated into responding to that. You and your pals have taken to calling other posters "the gang of 12" and that's supposed to tempt me to respond to your post? Oh boo hoo, we weren't invited to the treehouse meeting with the rest of the kids and the "gang of 12" was going to bring the big bag of Skittles, too. Your sincerity in discussing the campaigns is a tad underwhelming, so excuse me from your "discussion", I don't particularly care to be the whipping boy of the "Obama supporters".
I don't think Clinton is a bad person, I don't think your allegations are truthful, I think your perception is biased and I think the constant, unrelenting barrage of accusations and speculations and just plain, inane mind reading of Clinton is bullshit and so painfully reminiscent of the beating that Gore took from liberals and their failure to defend him that I find it disgusting. You want a "substantive post" I'll give you a "substantive post" when you drop the pretense and bullshit and get real. All I've read on this board since they've switched to this new format is partisan crap and whining. When you're ready to discuss issues, let me know, until then I'll continue to call it bullshit when I see it.
