another percepective
i diagree-in my temple when my rabbi made some intemperate and offensive remarks-and i could do nothing internally-i spoke to rabbi and left the temple-as another person said is it ok to be at a kkk meeting listen to the spew of hatred -state they are against it and stay a member(i reealize the church is not the kkk but the rhetoric sounds like it and relegeon hasn't always been historically tolerant. what i am afraid is that this is an example of obama the concilliator who wants to be liked and get along as opposed to a fighter who will; stand up to bigotry and be counted when it's most important and hardest. I voted for obama but it's time to see the courage i hope he has. I also think that despite the media's neglect of the story(of course not here) it will be an issue later on as the repugs publicize it and the mccain media buys in.
