What Hillary might do...

As Hillary gets more desperate I've been wondering what tricks she's going to pull out in the coming days.  Might she announce a running mate to bolster her campaign?  Will she suddenly become outraged over some last straw with Bush and get behind some impeachment effort?  What promise will she make at the debates that she knows Obama won't make?  I don't think she can get much mileage on the universal health care debate or pushing for FL and MI delegates.  Her surrogates have to be a little gun shy with the backlash they are seeing others get.  She doesn't have the option to raise the terror alert, that will be McCain's wild card.  I have the same feeling I had with the 2006 elections waiting for the "October surprise".  What's next???

What's next? Not much. Some tactical repositioning not mostly more of the same. Don't you remember 2006? For all the anticipation of what the big bad rove had up his sleeve, there was no October surprise, and the republicans got their asses kicked as predicted.

Never, never underestimate the cunningness of the Clintons, both Hillary and Bill. People owe them and they are master strategists of spin and Divide. We must stay vigilant! They have something up their sleeve.

Clinton's biggest problem is that she isn't doing anything to overcome her negatives.

She has to craft a story about her campaigns problems, why should we trust her on day one when she apparently was missing in action when her campaign was out of money.
She's not releasing her tax returns.
Etc. etc.

Her negatives are in the 40's. Barring lowering that number, Her only chance is to get those people to stay home in greater percentage than those that would vote for her.
