Parody long overdue
Despite the worries about whether fans can be coaxed back, Mr. Michaels and Mr. Meyers said they were delighted to be back to the “SNL” grind. “We’re going to have to do Obama this week,” Mr. Michaels said. “We need to find our Obama.”New York Times, February 21.
All the campaigns got a break from popular cynicism being stoked via the writers' strike. That's over, Obama's current style is like a dream come true for parodists, and there are many months to go.

It seems he's hard to parody, they're complaining about that.
The only thing I can think of that he say's "Ameh'ca" like MLK did.

One person's parody is another person's call to arms.
What happens when HRC gets the treatment?
Will Chelsea be off-limits? ;-)
The 1988/1992 Elections were probably the high point for SNL political sketches. There were so many gifted impressionists on the show at the same time back then.
We live in more conservative times.
