There is a minimal toolbar for blog posts. HTML seems to only work in comments.

And not all that well. It took the table when embedded in a paragraph, but the it wouldn't take marque, color, or speed. Just testing the rules, since the "Comment Policy" only links to the top of the post (!), not to a written policy.

Still rude.

I figured I could be less obnoxious about this if I just carried on the conversation with myself...;

familiar with the situation said Wednesday.

Obama, Crowds, and Power By Jim Sleeper - February 13, 2008, 9:56PM

As a political movement gathers what seems to be irresistible force, it rides currents of anger as well as affirmation. How it balances and channels those currents determines its fate. A movement can be fired up by outraged decency, but it will come to little -- or worse -- if its participants spend more time and energy venting the outrage than advancing the decency.

Barack Obama understands this unusually well. Will his supporters understand it, when the going gets tough? Answering that question requires knowing a little history, knowing Obama, and knowing ourselves, whether we are his supporters or not.

Oh, well. Enough for tonight. I think the point is taken that the site still isn't well prepared for code injection. Still may try to switch some heads though....

Since there is no other, I'll post again tomorrow with a handy template for those of you that would like to engage the limited html for emphasis in a signiture template.

Alphonse (Al) Kada

Jeepers, that would be swell of you, Al.

You should submit a bill afterwards. (To the software people, not TPM.) :-)

As we sometimes say to our fellow musicians, thanks for trying.
