Leave Hillary Alone.. Please!!!
There is lots of talk about Hillary going negative on Obama. I do not see anything the matter with this approach. It is very important that Obama gets all the practice possible to fight off the GOP attach machinery when he gets the nomination.
So leave Hillary alone and let her shoot as many questions as she can drum up, make as many charges as possible.. no matter if they are true or false. Let Hillary go as negative as the wind chill factor in Wisconsin.... no problem.
It's all good because it will help Obama's cause down the road. Leave the lady alone.. please!!!!

Right!
I mean, that's the ONLY REASON Larry Johnson posted his blog entry, "Obama's Terrorist Ties." He's just trying to be HELPFUL! I mean, after all, the Republicans are going to do this anyway, if he gets the nomination...

If Hillary wins in Wisconsin it will be because republicans crossed the line to vote for her. She's much easier to fight.

Larry Johnson is not part of Sen. Clinton's campaign.
I seem to remember your idol explicitly encouraged Republicans to vote for him in Nevada. "Be a Democrat for a Day" ring any bells?

First of all, nobody called him their "idol". That is your word choice. I dont vote for idols, I vote for a good candidate who is consistently opposed to the war in Iraq from day one.
Second, Obama did in fact call on disgusted Republicans in Nevada to vote for him. And that is wrong because????

I wouldn't call it 'wrong' but it does tell me that he feels he's much closer to their POV than Clinton. I believe that he's correct and that's a part of my reservations about him.

If you look at both Hillary and Obama's records, she is most definitely the more conservative of the two.
Seriously, go find concrete examples demonstrating how his policies and ideology are closer to being Republican, and then report back to this thread.

No need to get insulting with me, pmj6. I am not one of the "bots" each side accuses the other side of being. I'll appreciate it if you are respectful with me in future communications. I will respond in kind.
Obama's not my "idol," and no, I don't think I've ever heard Johnson claim to be a part of Clinton's campaign.
I'm just making an observation about the ugliness of smear and the "justifications" given for it. No matter who is being smeared or who is doing the smearing, it's sickening to behold.

I don't see how lying or distorting the facts is "healthy." Obama can hold his own, and it's not like OBama is suddenly going to "get tough" dealing with Hillary.
The Democrats have a HUGE spin machine working against the likes of Faux News and Citizens United. Remember, it was with the ardent help of MoveOn.org, DailyKos, Air America Radio, TPM, and other blogs and 527's that helped to stop Lieberman in the 2006 Democratic Party's senatorial primaries--and they helped win a majority in the House. Now, I have a feeling they will have Obama's back in the general, and they will have Clinton's back as well.
This isn't 2004.
