My friend's landlady's beagle Uno just won Best-in-Show, and let me just say that Uno is Teh Cute. Snoopy would be very proud.
So I was very dismayed to find this article
about ads PETA bought to attack dog breeding and dog shows. Yes, there
is a real problem with overpopulation and the need to euthanize
animals, but once again PETA misses the whole effing point.
Of course, PETA thinks it's better to euthanize adoptable animals rather than adopt them out. And yeah, if you dig deep into their rhetoric, you'll find out that the
underlying issue they have is animals kept as pets--I guess they think
dogs and cats have too much dignity for that, or something.
Assclowns.
File this one under "stupidity should hurt."
