I will not accept tax rebate
I am going to donate my tax rebate to charity. I will not accept anything from this regime. The current administration has taken away our civil liberties, waged an illegal war of aggression which has killed over 100,000 people, destroyed our reputation and murdered our Constitution. We should not further enrich Bush's plutocratic cronies by obsequiously accepting this rebate and spending it willfully. Corporate America has already benefitted immensely from this administration's economic policies.
The American people are good people; it is this current administration that is evil. I implore all Americans who can afford to do so to donate their refund to a charity of their choice. Life should be about giving, and helping people in need. It should not be about accumulating "Veblen goods".
Too many people around the world have lost so much since this administration has been in power. We should think before we consume. I am looking for suggestions for legitimate charities that I can donate my refund to. I appreciate the help.

Hi, Cafe. That's a great idea about giving the rebates to charity. Thanks for posting it. Here's an idea for a real and legitimate charity:
The Benin Education Fund
Website: http://www.benineducationfund.org
Check it out!
It's a small, ten-year-old US-based non-profit 501(c)3 that provides children in rural areas of Benin, West Africa, access to education. They place special emphasis girls’ education and health issues. They're trying to expand their annual budget from less than $50K, and are seeking donations to help to build a computer lab for a high school and its community. They already have the computers. That's where my refund will go!
