Hillary-hatred, the least of her problems.

We keep hearing lectures about how Democrats on either side of this race should hold their noses and vote for whomever the eventual candidate turns out to be.  It is a reasonable position to espouse and to expect from all Democrats given the stakes in the event of a defeat before the Republicans.

However, solidarity works both ways.  If the Clintons want African American support in the general election - without which, a Democratic victory is unlikely-, they will need to stop their race-baiting and even make repairs for this irresponsible strategy.  If they are counting on a plantation mentality after the damage they have done, once again they will prove their total lack of judgment.

The trashing of all the goodwill the Clintons had with their formerly most reliable constituency due to their divisive politics may be more disastrous for Hillary, the party, and the general election outcome than any of the traditional Hillary-hating we all know so well.

I suggest you prove that the Clinton race-baiting allegations have merit. I think the media is race-baiting, not the Clintons. They are too smart for that.

In the advent of Google, one should show restraint with such challenges. I hope the Associated Press is credible enough.

Clinton campaign strategists denied any intentional effort to stir the racial debate. But they said they believe the fallout has had the effect of branding Obama as "the black candidate," a tag that could hurt him outside the South.
