Howdy :-) I'd play a song, but we ain't got links in comments (a half rhyme ;-) Si, se puede, I think :-)
Let's try this again. Welcome to the world where up is down and left is right. Wait a minute, that's the Bush White House. Andrew, you're gonna be getting the bill from my shrink in the mail shortly ;-)
Good to see you, Festus! I thought I was gonna end up as some kind of bag lady at the site... till Andrew told me to delete all my cookies. Until then I was stuck in an endless loop like the "Little Match Girl" on the outside looking in.
So good to be able to communicate again! :-) (x10!)
I'm the shrink in the tpm-mail! I should send a bill for several of us!

I'm just so grateful for all of Andrew's recent help in merely getting into the site, after several days of being locked out (I struggled with that endless loop, too, TheraP), that I don't have the heart to complain much...but I have to say that it seems a little confusing at the moment, and that I hope we don't ultimately lose any of the functions we had before.
I'm sure that Andrew has his hands full. Best wishes to the TPM Cafe team on getting everything straightened out! Until then I guess we'll have to stumble around as best we can...
...and I have to ask the question: will all our comments now be moderated? I'm just wondering because of the delay in having them show up. Hoping the answer is no and that the delay in comments appearing is only temporary.
They're not moderated. There just seems to be a 3 to 5 minute lag time between submitting a comment and it appearing.
The main tpm site always had a lag before comments showed up. This is similar. Works ok for the political commentary strings. Less well, in my view, for the friendship strings.... like this one!
Peace to all. We're survivors and are now closer for it!

The delay for comments I posted at TPMCafe from my machine usually ran 5-7 seconds -- not instantaneous but barely noticeable. What's your upload speed?
OK, if you can't caucus for Obama this evening, I will.
Well, Sole Mate, good to see you here!!!! ♪♪♪ And ♫♬!
Good thing I checked back at this post. And thanks for caucusing for me!!!
♪♪♫ I love it!!!!
My vote for a smile. What a deal!
At that price I will vote often.
On a sort of related note, can somebody tell me how to change the email address associated with my profile on the TPM sites? I can see how to change my password. But I can't see where to change my email address.
