Closing time for Tuesday's polls
Being the political junkie that I am (and I believe I share that with many TPM readers), I want to know when to start looking for results. So, here are the closing times for Tuesday's polls/caucuses:
Wisconsin: 8 PM local time (central), or 9 PM Eastern.
Hawaii: 7:30 PM local time, or 12:30 AM Eastern (Wednesday).
Being of the early to bed, early to rise variety, I'll just have to check the results when I wake up Wednesday.

And in WI, if you're in line at 8 pm, you have the right to vote. The polls don't close till that line finishes voting.

Thanks for the addendum. I assume, however, than many polls will close promptly at 8 (because there's no one in line), so that will probably be when results start "rolling in". Or, maybe by 8 (central time) the news organizations will feel comfortable releasing the results of their exit polls.
And, yes, I do have an eastern time zone bias.

Of course CNN will actually know the exit polls
prior to poll closing and you can sometime deduce
what they think they are predicting. In 2004
they interviewed Ted Kennedy around 7 pm , in my opinion because the polls were then showing a probable Kerry win.
