Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton? What a Nice Problem

We are in the midst of the most exciting Democratic nomination contest in many years. I don’t recall when Democrats had two candidates that so many people were genuinely excited about – a few even about both. I have one friend who didn’t vote because he couldn’t decide which one he liked more. It’s a good day.
This contrasts with the Republicans. Following Mitt Romney’s most welcome speech of his campaign at the Conservative Conference, John McCain and his hundred-years-war are marching, however haltingly, toward the Republican nomination – licking his chops at taking on Barack Obama, or especially Hillary Clinton.
