Yeah, I loved McCain's contention that offshore drilling didn't cause any oil spills after Katrina:
http://www.thepersonalispolitical.com/2008/06/mccainbush-oil-scheme-pure-deception.html
I really wish the Democrats would lay it out in plain terms, so we could put an end to this nonsense once and for all. They need to spell it out, "It will lower the price of oil by less than $2/barrel in 10-20 years, and that will have ZERO impact on the price of gas."
If Democrats did a better job fighting back against this it wouldn't be an issue anymore, because offshore drilling simply can't hold up to scrutiny.

But...but...I thought Obama was supposed to have a "Latino problem", that's what Hillary and the media kept telling us! You mean, they were full of shit??
*GASP!*
If those numbers hold up Latinos are going to be a solid Democratic voting block like African Americans, which would pretty much seal the fate of the Republican Party given how the demographics are changing in this country.
I guess racism and xenophobia doesn't pay off after all. =)

Wait, what's to think about? Did you read that nonsense? Gotalife is a troll, period. Nothing he/she wrote made any sense, it was a giant load of crap.
I don't think LV was trying to get in the way of anyone thinking, god knows gotalife isn't capable.

So wait, we are supposed to subvert the democratic process by ignoring the will of the MAJORITY of Democrats, all because Obama did the politically smart thing and voted for the less-than-perfect FISA bill, a bill that would have passed no matter what? Yes, apparently the Iraq war vote was less important than FISA? That makes sense.
And what's this nonsense about it being a "no brainer" if we want to win?? Last time I checked Obama was kicking McCain's ass in the polls, so it seems to me you are talking out your ass. Oh, but I suppose you'd rather have Hillary as the candidate, so instead of being able to take the high road on Iraq and foreign policy like Obama is doing now, we'd be stuck with an inferior candidate who was partly responsible for the mess we are in? We should pick the candidate that was cozy with lobbyists and their cash? The candidate who repeatedly praised McCain??
Gotalife, pull your head out of your ass, you embarrass yourself. Why don't you go troll somewhere else? Are you one of McCain's paid trolls? I've seen you on other websites posting the same nonsense, it seems as though you make this a full time job. I bet McCain does pay you to troll all the liberal blogs.

I feel like I'm watching Rocky IV, and McCain is Apollo Creed (okay, more like Mickey), and Obama is Ivan Drago...and, spoiler alert, it is a massacre. And McCain never saw it coming.

Hell, I have girls call me sweetie and baby from time to time, not in a sexist or demeaning way, but in a friendly way, they mean nothing by it. Obviously Obama didn't call her sweetie in an attempt to subjugate her or make her feel inferior, it was just a more friendly way to address her. I can't believe people are really trying to make something of this.
The same people didn't seem to mind when Bill Clinton referred to Obama as "boy", which carries a huge racial dimension. No, then it was all "that's just how he talks, he didn't mean anything by it" (even when taken in the context of all of his other adventures in race baiting). Yet now Obama is a sexist pig? LOL, right.
Listen, I'm a straight male, and Obama can call me sweetie if he wants. It would be the best day of my life :P

A) They are both strong in PA according to this poll
B) Obama has never campaigned in Florida, yet is nearly tied with McCain
C) Obama is basically tied with McCain in Ohio now, and I'm sure he can easily pull ahead when he isn't fighting attacks from both sides, and
D) These are just a few polls of many, others have shown Hillary losing all of these states to McCain, and Obama doing much better than Hillary, so this doesn't mean a whole hell of a lotAnd how are we supposed to win in November if we lose states like Washington, Oregon, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc, as poll after poll show Hillary is likely to do? Screw swing states, Hillary can't carry half of our blue states according to the polls. But no, that is never an issue, only Obama.

Yeah, she is quite a leader, the kind that will lie to voters about a Republican policy she is promoting even though she knows damn well it is a worthless plan, all because she wants a few extra votes, and on top of that she attacks her opponent for not supporting the plan, that virtually no one but her, Bush and McCain supports:
http://www.thepersonalispolitical.com/2008/05/hillarys-dead-wrong-pandering-ploy.html
What excellent leadership, as if we haven't had enough of that in the last 8 years.
