  • A noun, a verb and POW

To use Joe Biden's own words, to describe a previous Republican Candidate Giuliani sole campaign position; a noun, a verb, and 9/11.  It seems to me the McCain campaign has morphed into a noun, a verb, and POW.  I think we...more »

  • Hurray, Hurray, Hurray.
John McCain throws another temper tandrum "My Friend's". The MSM should discuss his inability to answer one simple question.

The answer is NONE! She has NO experience with the "National Guard" of Alaska. NONE.

  • I believe in a woman's right to choose, the right to work and raise a family, the right to set out on your own career, but the part that makes me most concerned is if your choice has a negative effect on your kids. She "chose" to have 5 kids, one born with DS, and she "chose" to run for governor, and she "chose" to accept a VP position with both an infant in need and a teenage daughter in need. Who is taking care of these kids? One parents in Junea, and soon trapping all over the country, and one parent is in the Bay half time. I would think this concept would be an issue with many women; conservative or liberal on the feminist front. Being a mother to me means usually lots of sacrifice for your kids....and I have to say I am confused by this womans maternal "choices".

  • Two thoughts as someone who lived in Alaska for six years and through two pregnancies.
First, MANY women in Alaska fly in late stage pregnancy. Anchorage is the only real city (not counting Fairbanks). Due to the lack of physicians of any kind, some women actually use OBGYN's in Seattle, which is a three hour flight away. You don't drive to other cities (unless you call Wasilla a city!) My parents are from Dallas and that is a 7 - 9 hour flight to Anchorage. I don't think many people can understand how isolating living in Alaska can be. I believe physicians are much more laid back about flying during pregnancy in AK than other states .....and besides you would get far better care in Dallas or Seattle if you had the baby early....trust me on that one.
Second, I have already read and heard many refer to Gov. Palin as someone who "cut taxes". That would be an amazing acomplishment since AK has no state tax, Anchorage has no sales tax, and the state actually pays its residence annually to live there based not one cent of what the Gov. decides. There is a fund committee that determines the Alaska state fund.

  • I doubt the Republican's will touch this with a ten foot pole due to the Cindy-John affair while he was married to his first wife. But then again W. was never in the military but Kerry was swift boated so who knows!

  • One of my favorite moments in all the debates
and, I don't remember which one, but early was a question to BO about his lack of managing financially a large company or a state budget yet Mitt Romney has that experienc. Bo response was based on what he has spent on his campaign and raised and got for his money......I'd take my position anytime!
Bo speeches in Penn. and Iowa were awesome.

Worst has been HRC whining. The Republicans saying they don't believe in science or evolution.

Weird: Cindy McCain always....the stepford wife, she gives me the creeps, she is always standing there at his side in a pastel suit.....ugghhh.
